Boundary Mode
Boundary mode controls how TOMMY isolates motion detection within zone boundaries.
Precise Mode
Focuses on isolating detection within zones
- Detection Area: Focuses on keeping detection within defined zone boundaries
- Accuracy: May miss motion at zone edges
- Use Case: When you need strict zone boundaries and want to minimize detection outside the intended area
- Trade-off: Potentially reduced sensitivity at zone perimeters
Balanced Mode
Focuses on keeping detection within zone boundaries while still capturing most movement
- Detection Area: Focuses on keeping detection within defined zone boundaries while still capturing most movement
- Accuracy: Good balance between zone isolation and motion capture
- Use Case: When you want reliable detection within zones without missing movement, while minimizing false positives from outside the zone
- Trade-off: Balanced approach between precise boundary control and motion detection
Sensitive Mode
Focuses on maximizing motion capture
- Detection Area: Focuses on capturing all movement within defined zone boundaries
- Accuracy: May detect motion outside the intended zone
- Use Case: When you want to ensure no motion is missed, even at zone edges
- Trade-off: Possible false positives from movement outside the zone
